Ready for the next war? In Southern Africa?

By VVAW

[Printer-Friendly Version]

Stories persist of U.S. military personnel being seen with troops of the white racist regime of Southern Africa- of Portugal (a NATO ally), Rhodesia, and the Republic of South Africa.
At the same time it is known that the U.S. has tested a South African made ground-to-air radar missile system, called Cactus or Rattlesnake, at White Sands.

Can you help with the facts?

Do any of you know of Americans who have been on maneuvers with or accompanied Portuguese, Rhodesiam, and South African troops in any action ? real or simulated - which is directed against the African liberation movements of Southern Africa?
Do you know of any Portuguese, Rhodesian or South African military or police personnel receiving training at U.S. army, air or naval installations, or by American personnel anywhere?
