Clarence Fitch Honored

By VVAW

[Printer-Friendly Version]

On Sunday, February 24, Clarence Fitch was posthumously given an award by Congressman Major Owens of Brooklyn for the work he did as part of the 12th Congressional District Peace Education Committee.

The award was received by his mother, Mrs. Corrine Fitch, who was joined by his sister Marcy and her daughter Tiffany and by Dave Cline and Ben Chitty representing VVAW. Clarence died on May 7, 1990. And the New York — New Jersey Chapter of VVAW is named in honor of him.
