25th National Steering Comm.: National VVAW Meeting Set

VVAW will be holding a National Steering Committee Meeting in Chicago on the second weekend of September. VVAW holds these meetings in order to get as much input as possible from members and chapters, to determine policy and set actions for the year to come. Making use of the democratic process and incorporating whatever input is provided.

This will be the second National VVAW meeting this year: the first was held during the July 4th campout in Wisconsin. We plan to take up the question of a national program, exchange experiences, and summarize the state of Vietnam vets under the Reagan Administration.

All VVAW members are encouraged to come to the meeting; non-VVAW members who are involved in the struggle of vets are also invited and welcomed as observers; while you are not able to vote in the meeting, we would certainly welcome your input.
