Solidarity Statement: Pan Africanist Congress of Azania

By VVAW

[Printer-Friendly Version]

The struggle of the Azanian people and, indeed, the Southern African liberation forces as a whole is massively supported by the anti-imperialist, anti-colonialist, anti-superpower revolutionary forces in the US. To show their solidarity with the struggling masses of Azanian people the Vietnam Veterans Against the War donated with fatigues to the Pan Africanist Congress of Azania--a liberation movement fighting for the complete overthrow of the Apartheid system and the establishment of a socialist Azania.

We hail the undying support of the VVAW for the peoples of Azania.

PAN AFRICANIST CONGRESS OF AZANIA

On the 28th of May, African Liberation Day was commemorated by thousands and thousands of revolutionary forces all over the United States. In Washington DC the Revolutionary Student Brigade, together with the Vietnam Veterans Against the War, staged a massive march of thousands of revolutionary forces to the gate of the White House in solidarity with the forces of liberation in southern Africa, as well as paying tribute to African Liberation Day which was founded by the Organization of African Unity.

In delivering their solidarity speeches, the speakers strongly condemned the role of the two superpowers and the multi-national corporations that have investments in Azania and pledged their support to the end, for the liberation movement fighting against domination and exploitation of the masses of southern Africa and in Azania.
