National VVAW Meeting: Oct. in NY-NJ

The 29th VVAW National Steering Committee Meeting will be hosted by the NY/NJ Chapter of VVAW and will be held over the Columbus Day weekend. The meeting will begin on October 12th in Jersey City (easy access to the Newark airport).

Topics to be discussed include the U.S. war in Central America and the response of veterans, centering on what's going on in El Salvador and Nicaragua; Counter-recruiting particularly in high schools with reports on these activities; Agent Orange and where do we go from here; Building VVAW.

Any VVAW member is eligible to attend: if you have nay questions or want to add items to the agenda, contact the VVAW National Office for further information or contact Clarence Fitch NY/NJ coordinator (also contact him for housing).
