Volunteer Service Organization

By VVAW

[Printer-Friendly Version]

The St. Louis chapter has informed the national office that organizations can approach the Volunteer services Director in V.A. hospitals and request to be recognized as a Volunteer Service Organization at 45 V.A. hospitals throughout the country, they are automatically entitled to a seat on the National Volunteer Services Board. This entitles any chapter of that organization to be a Volunteer Service Organization at any V.A. hospital in the country (write the national office or contact your coordinator for details).
